Located on Forsyth Blvd. at Wallace Drive, dedicated in October 1996 by the Women’s Club at Washington University in St. Louis in memory of Elizabeth “Ibby” Gray Danforth, the university’s first lady from 1971 to 1995. The garden is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The garden offers a quiet place to relax on campus and includes benches, picnic tables, an arbor, and flowering plants needed by butterflies. The garden is maintained by the Women’s Club.
